Pakistan vow to turn up heat on India at Asian Games cricket competition

Pakistan have declared their intention to put India under pressure at the Asian Games cricket competition, drawing on lessons from recent high-stakes encounters between the two sides.

The pledge comes despite a troubled recent record against India. Since coach Michael Hesson took charge in May last year, Pakistan have lost to India on four occasions — three times during the 2025 Asia Cup and once at this year's Twenty20 World Cup.
