MLB hands out 2026 regular-season report cards across all 30 teams

Major League Baseball's 2026 regular season has been assessed across all 30 franchises, with grades spanning the full alphabet as contenders and also-rans alike receive their end-of-term verdicts.

While the majority of clubs landed somewhere in the middle of the grading scale, a handful of teams stood out at either extreme — one earning a rare A for surpassing expectations and another collecting an F after a campaign that fell well short of what was hoped.

For teams still alive in the postseason hunt, the grades reflect how well they performed relative to pre-season expectations, while those already planning for 2027 must now reckon with where their rosters fell short during the long 162-game schedule.
