Aaditya Thackeray rejects Rs 500-crore defamation notice over Disha Salian posts
The Shiv Sena (UBT) leader has filed a 25-page reply denying every allegation contained in the legal notice sent by Disha Salian's father.
Aaditya Thackeray has formally rejected a Rs 500-crore defamation notice served by Satish Salian, the father of the late Disha Salian, filing a detailed 25-page written reply in response.
In his reply, Thackeray denied "every allegation, assertion, insinuation, interpretation, demand and claim" set out in the notice. The legal action centred on posts Thackeray made on X on September 16, which Satish Salian alleged were defamatory in nature.
The dispute adds a fresh legal dimension to a matter that has long carried significant political and public interest in Maharashtra.
