Caitlin Clark makes WNBA history with 25 points and 15 assists as Fever beat Aces

Caitlin Clark produced a performance for the record books on Tuesday, becoming the first player in WNBA history — regular season or playoffs — to record 25 points and 15 assists in a single game, as the Indiana Fever defeated the Las Vegas Aces 99-89 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

The result kept the Fever alive in the series, with Clark's extraordinary display drawing widespread praise as a 'pretty incredible' showing against one of the league's premier sides.

The game was not without controversy, however. Aces centre A'ja Wilson was handed a technical foul late in the contest after she confronted a fan in the stands, requiring teammates to pull her away from the altercation. Wilson, visibly furious at the final whistle, described the fan's behaviour as 'unacceptable', saying the individual had stepped toward her and pointed at her during the closing stages of the defeat.
