IPL 2027 player auction to be held in Goa on December 15-16

The Board of Control for Cricket in India has confirmed Goa as the host city for the IPL 2027 mega auction.

The auction ahead of the 2027 Indian Premier League season will take place in Goa over two days, on December 15 and 16, IPL chairman Arun Dhumal has announced.

"We have finalised Goa. The likely dates are December 15 to 16," Dhumal said, confirming the coastal state as the venue for one of cricket's most anticipated roster-building events.

The auction will give all ten franchises the opportunity to reshape their squads ahead of the tournament. Further details, including the list of registered players and individual team purses, are expected to be released closer to the event.
