Enveda raises $311m to advance AI-powered nature-derived drugs

Enveda has secured $311 million in fresh funding to accelerate the development of drugs derived from nature using artificial intelligence, with the financing round placing a $2 billion valuation on the company.
The biotech is currently advancing treatments targeting skin conditions through clinical trials. It is also developing a drug designed to help patients maintain weight loss after they stop taking GLP-1 medications, a class of therapies that has drawn enormous commercial and scientific interest in recent years.
The capital injection is expected to support Enveda's push to bring a broader pipeline of AI-identified, nature-derived compounds through the clinical stages of development.
