Three separate lawsuits have been filed against Six Flags alleging that its X2 roller coaster caused severe brain injuries to riders, raising fresh safety concerns about one of the amusement industry's most intense attractions.

The legal claims centre on the X2 coaster, which subjects passengers to extreme forces through its high-speed, multi-axis spinning design. Plaintiffs in each case allege the ride left them with significant neurological damage.
