Three lawsuits claim Six Flags X2 roller coaster left riders with severe brain injuries

Three separate lawsuits have been filed against Six Flags alleging that its X2 roller coaster caused severe brain injuries to riders, thrusting the popular attraction into the centre of a growing legal battle over theme park safety.

The claims raise serious questions about the forces exerted on passengers during the ride and whether adequate precautions were in place to protect guests from neurological harm. X2, known for its over-the-shoulder rotating seats and intense manoeuvres, has long been regarded as one of the most extreme coasters in operation.

Six Flags has not publicly commented on the litigation. The lawsuits are at an early stage, and no findings of liability have been made.
