Pakistan vow to put India under pressure at Asian Games cricket competition

Pakistan have declared their intention to put India under pressure when the two sides meet at the Asian Games cricket competition, mirroring tactics previously deployed during the Asia Cup.

The pledge comes despite a turbulent recent record against their fiercest rivals. Since head coach Michael Hesson took charge in May last year, Pakistan have fallen to India three times in the 2025 Asia Cup and suffered a further defeat at this year's Twenty20 World Cup — four losses in total across the two tournaments.
