Three persons have been arrested in connection with the death of a senior citizen in Tirupattur, police confirmed. The accused were subsequently produced before a magistrate and remanded to judicial custody.
All three have been lodged at Central Prison in Vellore. Authorities have not yet disclosed details regarding the circumstances surrounding the elderly person's death or the motive believed to be behind the incident. Further investigations are under way.
