Indian Railways has cancelled all Mail and Express trains scheduled to arrive at New Delhi and Hazrat Nizamuddin railway stations on October 10, citing the possibility of severe traffic congestion linked to planned protests in the capital. The cancellations cover a ten-hour window running from 4 am to 2 pm.

The disruption comes as opposition INDIA bloc leaders are expected to march towards Rashtrapati Bhavan on the same day. The Chief Justice of Pakistan row and pressure from Left-aligned groups have galvanised demonstrators, with organisers alleging that supporters are being detained ahead of the planned action.

Delhi Police have urged citizens not to participate in the protests. The combination of train cancellations and heightened security deployments signals that authorities are bracing for significant disruption across the city centre throughout the morning.
