Steelers trade cornerback Joey Porter Jr. to Dallas Cowboys for two draft picks
Pittsburgh receives a 2027 sixth-round pick and a 2028 second-round pick in return for the young cornerback.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have agreed to trade cornerback Joey Porter Jr. to the Dallas Cowboys in exchange for a pair of future draft picks, it was confirmed on Wednesday night.
Pittsburgh will receive a sixth-round selection in the 2027 NFL Draft as well as a second-round pick in 2028 as compensation for the departure of the young defensive back.
The deal represents a significant haul of future capital for the Steelers, with the 2028 second-round pick in particular offering Pittsburgh a valuable asset as the franchise looks to reshape its roster in the coming years.
