Construction of a road overbridge on the Krishnagiri-Ranipet main road in Vellore town is approaching completion, marking a significant step forward for traffic movement in the area.
The overbridge is being built to replace the existing manned railway level crossing, designated LC 128, which currently interrupts the flow of vehicles along the busy corridor whenever trains pass through.
Once operational, the structure is expected to remove the delays and safety concerns associated with the level crossing, offering road users an uninterrupted route across the railway line.
